Suggested Programs or Events: The following list could be done by individuals, clubs, fire departments, civic groups, schools, families, churches, young people, children, companies, etc. In some cases we would like to have multiple events of the same type and we may be able to have more then one event on the same day. (Bold indicates already in existence) 1) Sponsor a House (or parts there of!) 2) Print brochure 3) Create power point presentation 4) Bulk mailing, 5) Telephone follow-up for individuals 6) Personal visits to businesses. 7) Fundraising campaign with the youth 8) Comedy night 9) Home parties 10) Bluegrass Festival 11) Jazz Fest 12) Fabulous Hubcaps (Feb.) 13) Ocktoberfest 14) Celtic celebration 15) Car Show 16) Car Wash [we have some very successful ones in the past!] 17) Tele-Communications 18) H4H house boxes to place in businesses 19) CD's for PP presentation 20) Golf Tournament 21) Dart Tournament 22) Volley Ball Tournament [Spring, 2007] 23) Halloween Party, costume event 24) Halloween event for Children, parents pay (?), corporate or civic clubs sponsor 25) Haunted house 26) Walk 27) Trips, (i.e. Night at the Kennedy Center) 28) Taste of Waldorf, LaPlata, Indian Head, etc. 29) New Years Eve Gala/Ball 30) Telethon (OK, that might be a bit over the top, BUT…) 31) H4H house boxes for churches, families, and/or children 32) Crab Feast 33) Dog/Cat Show 34) Fish Fry 35) “Bed” Race 36) H4H yard sale [October 14, 2006] 37) Local band concert 38) Church, family, club, company, youth group yard sale 39) Bake sale 40) Picnic 41) List item on eBay for H4H 42) Bike Meet 43) Basket Bingo 44) Your Idea? 45) ???
